Constitution and Bylaws

Resurrection is organized as a non-profit corporation in the state of Texas. Our constitution and bylaws are the formal documents that state our purpose for existence and how we govern ourselves as an organization.

Materials Required by Bylaws

Our bylaws have a section called “Documentation” that requires certain documentation be maintained. The online versions of this documentation are the most secure and authoritative. What's more, the web site provides a version history so that old versions can be compared with the latest versions.

• Voters' Assembly Documentation are copies of Official Minutes and Congregational Documents. Maintained by the congregational secretary.
• The Congregational Handbook is documentation of procedures, job descriptions, and instructions about how things work at Resurrection. Maintained by the Ongoing Activities Committee.
• The Congregational Journal is documentation of past projects and the outcome of voters' resolutions to undertake one-time activities and expenditures. Maintained by the Projects Committee.
